Group Programs

Our group programs bring children together to learn, play and grow in a supportive, engaging environment. We believe children thrive when they have opportunities to connect with others, see skills modelled by peers, and practise them in meaningful and fun ways.

Our vision for groups is to create spaces where children feel confident, included and capable. Each group is designed around shared interests to support motivation and engagement, while our therapists use evidence-based occupational therapy approaches to develop each child’s regulation, social, and participation skills.

Every group is led by an Occupational Therapist and supported by Therapy Assistants to ensure that each child receives the right level of guidance and opportunity for success. Groups allow for rich peer interaction, natural learning moments, and the development of skills such as turn taking, problem solving, communication, and teamwork.

We run Saturday groups during school terms and holiday programs throughout the year.

If you are interested in joining a group, please complete the registration form below and a member of our team will contact you to arrange a short phone call to learn more about your child and discuss which of our current groups might be the best fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I drop my child off?

Yes. Children can be dropped off and picked up by an authorised adult listed on your intake form. Parents don’t need to stay for the group — our team supervises children for the entire duration of the group.

How long are the groups?

Group sessions typically run between 60–90 minutes. This allows time for a mix of structured and play-based activities, as well as transitions and reflection time. Program fees also include the non-face-to-face time our team spends planning, setting up, packing up, and completing session notes to ensure each group is thoughtfully tailored.

Who runs the groups?

Groups are led by an Occupational Therapist and supported by trained Therapy Assistants.

Can I use NDIS funding?

Yes. All groups are billed under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living (Occupational Therapy) in line with NDIS guidelines.

What about snacks?

Some groups include snack time or cooking components as part of the session. Families are asked to complete an About Me form before starting, which includes information on allergies, dietary needs, and safe foods. You’re always welcome to send alternatives that suit your child.

Do I need to fill out forms?

Yes. Before starting, you’ll complete a Group Intake Form, Medical Form and About Me form. These help us understand your child’s goals, interests, and needs so we can support them effectively.

What if my child is sick?

If your child is unwell (fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, or contagious illness), please keep them home for the safety of others. If your child can’t attend, please let us know — sessions are planned in advance and unfortunately can’t be refunded or made up.
