What is Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists (OTs) work with children and their families to engage in activities they want or need to be able to do as part of their everyday routine. This can look different for everyone, and our OTs highly respect our children, including our neurodivergent children and families, and focus on goals through interests or activities that are important to them.

This can include collaborating to identify and advocate for accommodations and supports to meet needs and/or further develop emerging skills to support joyful play and social interactions; fine and gross motor based activities; self-care routine including mealtimes and toileting; emotional regulation; interoception; learning and attention; sensory processing differences and safety.
Our Occupational Therapists work closely with others members of the Early Intervention Team such as Speech Pathologists and Psychologists.
